What's great about the job?
- Real-world mission impact, not abstract IT. Your daily work keeps water flowing, fire alarms operational, and airfield lighting reliable across an active Air Force installation.
- Hands-on with both enterprise IT and operational technology. You administer Microsoft Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, and Cisco/Juniper networks, alongside the SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems that run on them. The breadth is rare in a single role.
- Direct customer relationship, no bureaucracy. You report to the government technical lead on a day-to-day basis. Decisions get made in one conversation, not five layers of email.
- Stable on-base seat with funded career growth. No relocation, no commute outside Tucson, and CyberMyte covers the cost of your IAT Level II baseline and advanced certifications (CySA+, GICSP, vendor certs), so you can keep building.
