Cyber Awareness Training

  1. Go to https://public.cyber.mil/training/cyber-awareness-challenge/
  2. Click on "Launch Training"

  1. Select "Start New Session"

  1. Follow the instructions provided within the training course.

Standard vs Knowledge Test

There are two different methods to take the test.

Standard

  1. Standard is the long version of the Cyber awareness training, typically taken by non-cybersecurity employees/contractors.
  2. This version takes about 1 hour more or less.

Knowledge

  1. The knowledge check is for those employees/contractors that do cybersecurity everyday and have very advanced knowledge of the topics.
  2. If you start the knowledge check and answer incorrectly you will reverted to the standard challenge.

Certificate

  1. All sections must have a green indicator light to the left of the topic

  1. Type your full name into the certificate
  2. Save the Certificate and attach it to your task

  1. Change the task to "In Review"
  2. Change the Assignee to your immediate Supervisor
